The things you learn in Primary...

These 3-4 year olds are smarter than they look. While almost every lesson has to do with spiderman (As you can tell from Brady and Jacob's pose) there is quite a bit you could learn from these kids. For example...

-When the whale "threwed up" Jonah he didn't hurry to tell the people to repent. He took a bath because he was "stinky like fish guts"
-They are not called Matryoshka dolls, or Russian nesting dolls... they are called "Russian Dolphins"
-One must go to the bathroom at least 3 times in a one hour period. You must also need the drinking fountain that many times.
-The pictures you hold up that has a round planet on it is not the earth (despite the fact that it looks just like the earth) its called the moon... And animals and houses are on it, but NOT people and certainly NOT us
-If you are mean to a dog you have to give it away. Especially if it is a girl dog and you kick it too much
-When the teacher brings in a bucket of water for the "I am thankful for water lesson" it does not mean we should sit quietly and look at the water. It means we should splash water all over ourselves... sorry parents.
-Dirt tastes good
Oh the wonderful things we learn in Primary... can't wait to see what next week will bring!

Happy Happy Birthday

It's time for another birthday! My little brother Alex turned 13 years old today. HOLY SMOKES him growing up makes me feel old! I was 10 when this little guy was born. I remember going to the hospital and thinking he was the cutest baby I'd ever seen. He's grown up to be such a good lookin' dude. as he would say it..."I'm just too sexy". So today is dedicated to you - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Yesterday was my Grandma Hill's birthday. If she were alive today she would be 68 years old. Grandma always had a jar of treats, a smile on her face, and a collection of costume jewelry that would make any little girl dance with excitement. Happy Birthday!

Take me out to the ball game

A few weeks ago Pete and Beka invited Shane and I to go to a Jazz game with them. It was a very eventful game - This was the game that Harpring almost got in a brawl with some dude on the other team (obviously I was into it!). The Jazz won. This is a picture of us out front - thank you lady who took the picture - sorry we distracted you from your child who played in the mud while you snapped it
Here is the view from our seats - front of the upper bowl. Perfect view of the screen and court.
Me and Beka entertaining ourselves while the Jazz dancers "danced"
Shane and Pete - obviously NOT wanting to acknowledge us - apprently the game was too interesting.
